Solicitor General vows to tackle gang violence

The Vancouver Province is reporting that "B.C.’s new Solicitor General wants to review the province’s anti-gang programs to see if changes are needed to more effectively battle brazen gun violence. Mike Farnworth, the NDP’s longtime critic of the public safety portfolio, said the public is understandably concerned by the ongoing violence.'

"He plans to sit down with police and look at the programs we have got in place. Are they doing what we hoped they would do? Can we make them better?” OMG. Are they doing what we hoped? NO!. Can we do better? YES!

Let's go back to the Crime Prevention meeting Mike Farnworth hosted along with Bruce Ralston in Surrey on June 12 2008. Nothing has changed. The problems and concerns the tax paying residents and business owners expressed then have fallen on deaf ears and the police and city hall have done the exact opposite which has created a colossal problem that is out of control.

Personally I believe Mike Farnworth is genuine and sincere. I just don't think he has the balls to fix the problem like he promised back in 2008. At that meeting he said he was there to listen to the concerns of the local residents in Surrey. I was there. I heard what the residents said. The concern then is the same concern now - open drug use on the Surrey strip and the resulting crime that creates. Businesses can't function because the addicts are robbing them blind forcing them to leave Surrey. Clearly the modified slogan is true. In Whalley, the Future Dies Here.

At that meeting the residents of Surrey said they don't want a safe injection site in Surrey. Someone who said he was an ex con and ex junkie spoke stating he had been clean for 15 years. He said rehab is possible. He said the best treatment for a crack addict is to lock him up for 90 days in prison. One bar owner expressed his concern about the inequity of the law. He objected to the police driving by people smoking crack in his neighborhood and said that if someone lights up a cigarette outside his bar that person can be fined $2,000.00 and that fine can be enforceable. He said the inequity of the law is absurd.

Citing the inequity of the law, that same bar owner objecting to criminals running free and the police driving by people smoking crack in his neighborhood asked why am I the one with bars on my windows in my home? Mike Farnworth had to agree with the man's concerns shook his head and cited a quote from Charles Dickens and said "the law is an ass."

The new article in today's Vancouver Province stated "Postmedia News recently reported the challenges B.C. prosecutors have faced in getting the Hells Angels designated a criminal organization in court." Yeah we saw that. It was utterly ridiculous. Why in God's name should we chase all the Hells Angels that don't sell drugs when we refuse to go after the Hells Angels that do sell drugs? The police are watching the drugs that are coming out of Shakerz supplying the Lookout and Front Room yet they refuse to lift a finger to stop it.

Not only that but they have gone to the other extreme and are providing police protection to the drug dealers on the Surrey strip that work for the Hells Angels. It is obscene.

Postmedia News is a Corporate Monopoly. Almost all the newspapers in Western Canada are owned by the same entity. That's why they got rid of the Surrey Leader with one sweep of the pen. Corporate monopolies eliminate all competition and destroy the free market.

The article in today's Vancouver Province was written by Kim Bolan who works for the Vancouver Sun. Now those two newspapers are no longer different they are one in the same. They are clones of each other all controled by Peter Leask ass kisser Harold Monro. Wayne Moriarty would have been a much better choice.

Postmedia News is a corporate monopoly. Their primary source of revenue is corporate advertising. That is why they are selling the pharmaceutical fraud instead of confronting it.

Larry Campbell is an anti Christ pimping the pharmaceutical fruad. He is the one that tricked us into adopting the Four Pillars program in the DTES. The Four Pillars Program consists of four pillars not one - Enforcement, Treatment, Prevention and Harm reduction. Harm reduction is the small component of the program. Enforcement, Treatment and Prevention are the main components of the program. Enforcing the law and getting addicts into treatment are crucial.

As soon as Larry Campbell tricked us into adapting that program in East Vancouver political extremists tied to organized crime and the pharmaceutical fraud threw away the main components of the program and sent us down the toilet on a one legged horse emphasizing harm reduction without enforcement or treatment which has become harm promotion and has compounded the problem a hundred fold.

Inspector John McKay told
us what the failure of the lethal injection site in East Vancouver was. As soon as they put the lethal injection site in the police stopped enforcing the law and started letting drug dealers sell crack and crystal meth along with heroin. The police stopped enforcing the law. That has created a forest fire of lawlessness that is killing businesses in Whalley. This is not the New York model. This is not even the Four Pillars program. This is not compassion or social justice because it is hurting everyone including addicts. This is burning tax dollars promoting the pharmaceutical fraud. It is evil. Why reward drug dealers for selling fentanyl?

Treatment saved Kati. Lethal injection sites and Harm promotion did not.

Al's Habrich Trail

I rode out to the Sea to Sky gondola again today. This time I took the Al's Habrich Trail which takes you to a great viewpoint above the Chief where you can see the mouth of the Cheakamus.

I was hoping to access Mount Habrich from that trail but unfortunately that trail doesn't take you to the summit, that's on another trail off of the Sky Pilot trail. So it that sense the trail was anti climatic but if you just head up to the viewpoint over the Chief it's a nice hike.

The tragic tale of Kevin Kerfoot

CTV News is reporting that A British Columbia man convicted of leading a cocaine and ecstasy smuggling ring has been sentenced to 13 year in a U.S. prison. U.S. Attorney Annette Hayes says Kevin Kerfoot, 53, of Surrey organized an operation smuggle 41 kilograms of cocaine to Canada from Washington state in 2005.

The court decision states that they were bringing 20 pounds of ecstasy from Canada to the US and traded it for 41 kilos of cocaine to be brought back to Canada. His underlings got caught and named him as their leader. He doesn't look like a mastermind to me. He kinda looks like a dweeb.

The court decision states that he came from a good home and his brother is a wildly sucessful businessman. A coworker of mine that knew him said it's a rather sad tale. The guy's parents left him a fortune and he was set for life but he pissed it away on gambling and booze so he started drug trafficking for the Hells Angels to get out of debt. His brother Greg Kerfoot owns the Vancouver Whitecaps and has a Christy Clark connection.

His underlings named him but he certainly won't name who he was working for or else he'd be dead. They already tried to shoot a co accused in Kelowna but the shooter was on bicycle and the witness survived and ran him down in his truck.

Motorcycle accident

There have been several motorcycle accidents over the weekend. Castanet is reporting that there was a motorcycle accident on Highway 97 near Bailey Road on the way to Vernon from Kelowna yesterday afternoon. KISS-FM reported that a truck slammed on his breaks to avoid hititng a deer and the motorcycle crashed into the back of the truck.

Global reported that on a fatal motorcycle accident in West Kelowna. "The 37-year-old man died in hospital after his motorcycle collided with a pickup truck at the intersection of Highway 97 and Elk Road in West Kelowna Wednesday night." Witnesses claim speed may have been a factor.

Durham Radio News is reporting that Durham police say a collision between a vehicle and motorcycle in Oshawa sent the motorcycle rider to hospital. They say the driver of the vehicle tried to make a left hand turn just before 8 p.m. Saturday from the centre lane of Simcoe Street near John Street, resulting in the crash. The driver of the vehicle has been charged with careless driving, while the motorcycle rider is in stable condition.

One blog reader who witnesses the accident in Ontario claims the motorcyclist was wearing HA colors with an Ontario rocker. Shortly after a bunch of guys showed up that were wearing "Redline" patches with a "Durham" rockers.

Drive and ride safe. Anything can happen in a New York Minute.

Police protecting drug dealers on the Surrey strip

I heard an upsetting report from a local business fed up with the drug related crime in Whalley and decided to check out the new developments on the Surrey Strip for myself. I would not have believed it had I not seen it with my own eyes. The police have a fenced cage "Outreach Team" right between the Front Room and the Lookout homeless shelter which are two drug houses run by the Hells Angels killing people with fentanyl. They are right beside the new lethal injection site.

Instead of arresting the drug dealers the Surrey RCMP are now offering them police protection. Herein lies the failure of enforcement on the Surrey strip. This is why the police are not doing anything about the drug trafficking out of Shakerz. They are offering their drug dealers police protection on the street. God damn you all. This is NOT the New York Model. It is the zombie apocalypse feeding the pharmaceutical fraud. There are twice as many tents now.

They are not helping the homeless find housing. They are not helping addicts get into treatment. They are doing the exact opposite. They are promoting the drug trade and feeding the forest fire of addiction. God help us. No one else will. Bring back Dr. Colin Mangham. We need him.

There is no gang enforcement in BC. There is only gang promotion now.

Christy Clark to resign as leader of BC Liberal party

Global is reporting that Christy Clark is resigning as the leader of the BC Liberal party, effective Friday August 4. The Vancouver Sun is reporting that "Clark will also be resigning as MLA of Kelowna West. Premier John Horgan will have six months to call by-election to fill her vacant seat in the legislature." Rich Coleman will serve as interim caucus leader.

Although I've had huge concerns with the Christy Clark government it was nothing against her personally. My concerns were with the corrupt party itself. She tried to lead a grass roots movement to help the party rise above the Gordon Campbell corruption but she failed miserably. She became part of it. Getting rid of her will not solve the problem it will only make it worse.

Rich Coleman is the devil incarnate. He is as dirty as they come. In 2009 the RCMP's Integrated Illegal Gaming Enforcement Team (IIGET) relesed a comprehensive report on organized crime laundering money through BC Casinos. Right after they released the report Rich Coleman got rid of the police task force. He later became the minister responsible for gaming.

"In a 2009 report obtained by The Vancouver Sun through a Freedom of Information (FOI) request, the IIGET warned of casinos' "extreme vulnerability" to money laundering. Many investigations across Canada have found that members of organized crime use casinos for criminal purposes, the report states. A separate internal assessment, obtained by the Globe and Mail through a FOI, advised that Hells Angels members had, in some cases, succeeded in infiltrating the province’s legitimate gaming operations. The 12-member IIGET was dissolved on April 1, 2009 by then-Housing Minister Rich Coleman."

Surrey shooting at Morgan Creek Corporate Centre

The Peace Arch News is reporting that "One man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries after a targeted shooting in South Surrey at about 3:30 p.m. Thursday. Police were called to the Morgan Creek Corporate Centre, at 32 Avenue and 152 Street in South Surrey, investigating after reports of shots fired. One witness tweeted it “appears (to be) a shooting outside of drip lounge. Office building and vehicle in neighbouring parking lot struck by stray bullets.” Upon arrival, RCMP identified a male victim who had fled from the scene. The man, who is known to police, was found a short time later near the site of the shooting."

Massive Edmonton Drug Bust

Global is reporting that "Edmonton police said they have made the largest fentanyl pill seizure in Canadian history and have dismantled a drug lab in the process. Police said they started a drug trafficking investigation in March. On July 5, the Edmonton Drug and Gang Enforcement Unit conducted a search warrant on a house in Edmonton, where 67,000 fentanyl pills with an estimated street value of $2 million were seized."

Edmonton is Red and White. The Edmonton Sun is reporting that during the investigation police seized 4 kilos of cocaine, 8 kilos of crystal meth, 130,000 fentanyl pills and 100 kilos of cutting agents. Alberta gang enforcement still kicking ass. Stopping fentanyl is socially responsible.

Justine Trudeau on the cover of the Rolling Stone

Well Dr. Hook called it, Justin Trudeau made the cover of the Rolling Stone. They refer to him as the North Star and ask Why can't he be our president? He's a nice guy but don't let that platinum credit card fool you. Our kids have to pay the interest on what he spends. That's not ethical.

Hells Angels associate shot dead in Chilliwack

The Vancouver Sun is reporting that "The man shot Friday morning in Chilliwack has been identified. Police say Yee Hung (Roland) Chin, 33, died in hospital after being shot in the 43900 block of Progress Way. His death is being treated as a homicide and the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team is now investigating. Chin had most recently lived in Chilliwack and was known to police. Chin had an extensive criminal history in Calgary. He was a member of the FOB gang in Calgary; his brother Roger was killed in 2008. More than two dozen deaths were connected to a long-running gang war with their rivals, the FOB Killers."

As we know, the FOB (Fresh off the Boat) in Calgary sold drugs for the BC Hells Angels through the Independent Soldiers. The FK in Calgary sold drugs for the UN.

CBC is reporting that "Police say a Dodge Caravan was set on fire shortly after the shooting and two other vehicles - described as a white sedan and a dark sedan - were spotted fleeing the site of the burning van."

The Abby News is reporting that: "For the past year Chin has lived in Chilliwack, according to some who knew him. He went by Jason, rode a motorcycle, was a personal trainer and apparently went to church."

Bacchus member murdered in New Brunswick

CBC is reporting that "A recent homicide victim in the Minto area was described in court three years ago as a member of the Bacchus motorcycle club. The body of Ronald Richard, 50, was found Sunday on a rural property in Hardwood Ridge, near Minto. His former lawyer, Rodney MacDonald, confirmed he was the Ronald Richard who'd appeared in court on drugs and weapons charges." Sounds like the HAs were worried he'd flip. With friends like that...

Synthetic cannabis linked to eighth New Zealand death

BBC is reporting that "A man in his 20s died on Tuesday night, bringing the number of fatalities this month linked to the illegal substance to eight. The drug consists of dried plants sprayed with synthetic drugs - it triggers effects similar to cannabis but is more powerful and dangerous. Synthetic cannabis has already caused huge concerns in the US and Europe. In each of the eight deaths this month, the victim was thought to have used the drug before dying or was found with the drug on them."

Hells Angels gather in Calgary for 20th Anniversary

The Montreal Gazette is reporting that members of the Hells Angles from across the country including Quebec and Ontario will be visiting Calgary this weekend for the chapter's 20th anniversary. As long as they dont let the Edmonton dirtbags gang up on someone like they did in Greece everything should be fine. The Edmonton chapter sucks.

Like with any family reunion, people show up that we don't like. My obvious concern is with the members of the cub that are involved with drug trafficking. Drugs in clubs or to people who want it and can afford it is none of my business. Giving drugs to the homeless for free then beating the life out of them for payment afterwards is. That is just plain nasty.

It's nice to see the Quebec brothers cut the Ontario village idiots some slack after pulling a je me souviens on the Ontario Nomads. Some of the left over rejects were even sent here in BC.

Canadian political prisoner in Communist China

May 2017 the Georgia Straight reported that a Canadian citizen named Qian Sun was arrested in Beijing on February 19, 2017, simply for being a Buddhist. Anastasia Lin is a local activist who in 2015 represented Canada in the Miss World pageant. She was banned from participating in the competition by Communist China for speaking out about their organ harvesting and human rights abuses of political prisoners.

Anastasia Lin made a video endorsing a petition to the Canadian Government calling for the release of Sun Qian. Please sign and share the petition so we can address this ongoing atrocity.

Spotlight on Communist Vietnam

This weekend is the tenth anniversary of the Surrey Fusion Festival showcasing food and culture from all over the world. When I stopped by this afternoon there were several banners outside denouncing the Communist government of Vietnam.

One banner refers to Father Thadeus Nguyen Van Ly a Catholic Priest in Vietnam who Amnesty International adopted as a prisoner of conscience. His support for the Bloc 8406 manifesto led to his sentence on 30 March 2007, for an additional eight years in prison. The second banner also refers to Nguyen Huu Tan who was a Buddhist that died in police custody.

I met Hai Trieu a local activist that has written a book about the Communist oppression in Vietnam. The Gulf of Tonkin incident may well have been a fraud but the Communist invasion wasn't. Canada should have helped Vietnam repel the invading Communists just like it did for Korea. Our inaction in Vietnam has stained us. What's worse is our apathy now.

Mark my word, the Corporate Communism that has infiltrated Western right wing politics is leading us down the same road towards the destruction of civl liberty and human rights.

Organ Harvesting in Vietnam

We've talked a fair bit about organ harvesting from political prisoners in China. The Falun Gong are imprisoned simply for being Buddhists then executed to order for their organs. Consequently it comes as no surprise to hear that organ trafficking is also a problem in Communist Vietnam.

When I asked Hai Trieu about it he said that organ trafficking isn't done as publically as it is in Communist China. He said in Vietnam it's done under the cloak of darkness. Young men will go missing only to be found later on in the forest with organs removed. Thankfully for some organs you dont have to execute the prisoner they can still live with one kidney. Yet Hai Trieu said frequently young children go missing where they are drugged put on ice and taken away permanently for their organs likely to be used in the open organ trafficking done in China.

Kidneys, newborns, wives for sale: Human trafficking on the rise in Vietnam

Blogging about the atrocities will certainly land you in prison. Last year Amnesty International issued a report about the mistreatment of political prisoners in Vietnam. "Hung from the ceiling and beaten by police - a rare glimpse into the treatment of Vietnam’s political prisoners."

The reason so many Vietnamese Canadians are voicing their concerns to the Surrey Mayor at the Fusion festival is because of the fact that they are letting them display the Communist flag for Vietnam. Many of the Vietnamese Canadians I spoke with have survived starvation in Communist prisons for five to ten years before coming to Canada.

The Vietnamese Canadian Federation sent a letter to Linda Hepner about their concerns. I have a copy of a second letter they sent with the support of 40 other associations. Tom Zillich tweeted a copy of their press release. That's as far as the local media would go with it so I ran with it.

Hai Trieu gave me a copy of a book he coauthored called "The Undaunted Voices for Human Rights in Vietnam." I'm sure it will be a good read. Truth crushed to the earth will rise again simply because no lie can live forever. "What's done in the dark will be brought to the light."

The book starts off with a quote from Victor Hugo which states that "Communism is a dream of somebody but a nightmare of everybody." Buyer Beware. One of the recurring concerns in Vietnam appears to be the obsession to send people to "Re education" camps.

The Undaunted Voices for Human Rights in Vietnam interviews several witness testifying to various forms of human rights abuses in Vietnam. The first witness is a Bhudist monk named Thich Khong Tanh who is seen in the picture lighting insence in the temple ruins.

The book next interviews Father Phan Van Loi who itemized the Comunist inconsistensies.

The list of witnesses goes one and on:

Pastor Nguyen Cong Chinh is in jail while his wife is being persecuted.

Horgan appoints Kenny G as BC Hydro Chair

Global is reporting that "Premier John Horgan has announced Kenneth G. Peterson as the new chair of BC Hydro’s board. The former CEO of Powerex will fill the role previously held by Christy Clark’s confidante Brad Bennett." CBC is reporting that Jessica McDonald the dirty insider left over from Gordon Campbell's destruction of BC Hydro's fiscal responsibility has been fired. Oh Happy Day. The BC Hydro fraud that created a tsunami of deferred debt must be rectified.

When the public company buys power at above market rates from private companies the whole province suffers from that fraud. That work needs to be contracted back in to the public company so the insiders stop embezzling tax dollars at such an unprecedented rate. Peace.

Saskatchewan RCMP Officer charged with cocaine trafficking

CBC is reporting that "An RCMP constable in Swift Current, Sask., will stand trial in November accused of trafficking cocaine and ecstasy. Michael Tara Chachula, 31, was arrested in Swift Current in January 2015 and charged with two counts of drug trafficking." Po Po what?!

The Prairie Post reported that although the officer was arrested and charged in Saskatchewan, the alleged cocaine and ecstasy trafficking occurred in Toronto. We mentioned the arrest in 2015.

Two Drive-by shootings in Whalley - Update

The Surrey Now / Leader is reporting that "Police are investigating a drive-by shooting in Whalley that happened at about 8:30 p.m. Thursday. No injuries have been reported. The Surrey RCMP says shots were fired from a newer-model two-door charcoal-coloured Honda Civic at a newer-model black Cadillac Escalade, in the 9400-block of 130A Street. Both took off before police arrived."

Update: News 1130 is reporting that "Surrey RCMP is investigating after shots were fired in the Whalley area last night (Friday). Loud bangs were heard at Pattullo Place, near 120th and King George about 11:30 P.M. No victims were located at the scene, or at hospitals in the area. A black SUV was seen leaving the area, and police believe it was a targeted incident."

Kelowna man charged after 2 kilos of cocaine seized

Global is reporting that a "A Kelowna man has been charged after police seized drugs, guns and ammunition. On July 11th, officers with the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit found two kilograms of cocaine in a vehicle. Police say a search the following day of a residence in the 400 block of McCarron Avenue turned up nine firearms including a loaded 9mm handgun and two semi-automatic rifles with prohibited over-capacity magazines. One of the rifles was outfitted with a bayonet." The bayonet just means it was probably an SKS. I have one myself. They are cheap. Over capacity magazine just means anything over five rounds. You can bend the pin in some and modify it to hold 10 rounds but that's illegal in Canada.

"George Zacharias, 46, has been charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking." Interesting to note he is being charged in Abbotsford. His next appearance is 11:00 AM July 24 2017. Castanet is also reporting on the story. Sounds like the CFSU is back in action. Excellent.

Chester Bennington from Linkin Park has committed suicide

TMZ is reporting that Chester Bennington, the lead singer from Linkin Park has committed suicide. That is indeed tragic. When I think of Linkin Park I think of the song Numb which they remixed with Jay Z. That song touched my heart because the more I find out about these dirty ass gang bangers living in the ivory tower, the less I want to be like them and the more I want to be like me. A poor man is better than a liar. Drugs and alcohol appear to have been a factor.

The tragic thing about suicide is that it's always preventable. Everybody gets discouraged. Everybody has bad days. When people commit suicide they lose hope. They dont think things will ever get better. I knew a lady in West Belfast who had agoraphobia. She said to me that even through all her darkest days she always had hope. That was the one thing no one could take away from her. It's pretty easy to lose faith. Yet hope is something we always have. Even if we dont believe things will ever get better we always have hope that one day it might.

I remember attending the funeral of a coworker who committed suicide. His daughter looked around at all the people from work who came to his funeral and started to cry. She said he didn't think he had any friends. It was very sad. Peace.

Update: Tragically Linkon Park recently teamed up with Pusha T and Stormzy to put out a song called Good Goodbye. If you have suicidal thoughts you need to call the crisis line:

Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance Remix

As this blog rapidly approaches it's 20 million views milestone I'd like to pause amidst the hustle and bustle for a Zen moment of reflection. This post will be a prelude to the overview that marks the 20 million mark in its journey. It represents a personal epiphany.

Although it likely went by unnoticed by most, there was a minor nuclear holocaust in my personal life that caused me great anxiety and forced me to take another standing eight count to process what happened and decide what course of action I would take in the future. It was a crossroads so to speak. Trolls trash and normally I don't give them the time of day because when push comes to shove they are just dust in the wind. Yet when someone comes to you for help and then screws you over for helping them one is forced to ask why bother? Why help anyone?

Then I get a call from someone I had helped in the past just touching base and giving me an update about how their son and daughter in law were doing. It was nice to talk to someone respectful and appreciative. I was grateful to hear how their kids were doing because I do genuinely care about them. Like I've said before, lots of people come to me for help. Some people I can help, some people I can't. That's just life in the real world.

Helping others isn't just a Christian principle, it's a Zen principle as well. Selfishness and greed are not tenants of an enlightened sage. Treating others they way you want to be treated is.

When I was young the book Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance was the rage. I personally enjoyed it because I rode a motorcycle and I had studied Zen in the Martial Arts. I felt combining the two on a road trip was a natural conclusion of applying the ideals of Zen in real life.

I have in the past talked about writing a book of my own. I put out a free e-book on the 10th anniversary of the Gary Webb murder tying in his work with mine because I felt a kinship to the Gary Webb story. I was mortified to find out the CIA was behind the US crack epidemic in the /80's that I had devoted so many years of my life to combat. Yet it all made sense and pointed to Operation Fast and Furious clearly demonstrating that Iran Contra never stopped.

So my e-book stands as a tribute to Gary Webb and an overview of my background and how that led me to doing this blog. Yet the book I publish will be something entirely different. I don't want to profit from discussing crime nor do I want to dwell on crime. As Lao Tzu said "It is better to light one candle than curse all the darkness." Take it from me, I've cursed a lot of darkness.

My book will remix the ideals of Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance and comprise a motorcycle journey across Canada and the United States reflecting on lost liberty just like the original quest in the movie featuring George Christie called the Last American Outlaw. That profound documentary narrated by the Aging Rebel was originally supposed to be a modern version of Easy Rider following one man's journey on a motorcycle across the United States.

I think the theme of reflecting on lost liberty is very timely as the Constitution currently hangs by a thread. I think it's tragic George had a following out with the Aging Rebel and with Mead. I personally think it was because the Hells Angels put George out in bad and they didn't want to rock that boat. I have a huge respect for the Aging Rebel and there was nothing untrue about the narration he wrote in that profound documentary. Mead did a great job putting it all together.

So for me the journey continues in a posative direction endorsing civl liberty in a free republic. As Martin Luther King declared, "I say to you today my friends that in spite of the difficulties and frustrations of the moment I still have a dream." Rock the world soulja. Peace - not as the world knoweth but as the real Zen master knoweth. That peace comes from within. .

This is an overview of the book I am currently working on: Zen and the art of Civil Liberty.

John Horgan sworn in as BC Premier

The Globe and Mail is reporting that British Columbia Premier John Horgan was formally sworn in (today) Tuesday - the first New Democrat in 16 years to hold the office – as he named a cabinet that must immediately turn its attention to a wildfire crisis that has displaced almost 46,000 people. Mr. Horgan, whose party worked with the third-place Greens to defeat the former Liberal government following the May 9 election, acknowledged the unfolding disaster that has overshadowed the transition of power.

“As we gather, we’re mindful of the tens of thousands of British Columbians who have been forced from their homes,” Mr. Horgan said during a swearing-in ceremony at the Lieutenant-Governor’s residence in Victoria.

The new Cabinet consists of: Carole James as the Minister of Finance and Deputy Premier. Mike Farnworth is the Minister for Public Safety and Solicitor General. Bruce Ralston is the Minister for Jobs, Trade and Technology. While Adrian Dix is the Minister of Health.

So let's devote some funds to drug treatment instead of drug promotion and bring back the Outlaw Motorcycle Gang Unit. We can balance the budget by fixing the BC Hydro fraud.

Prince George and Abbotsford Shooting

Scan BC reported that #PrinceGeorge #RCMP responded to reports of a 20 year old male shot at 1900 Strathcona Ave. The Prince George Citizen is reporting that the shooting took place near the corner of Strathcona Avenue and Upland Street at about 1:15 a.m. A security camera caught images of the getaway car which is described as a blue older-model four-door full-size sedan.

BC Local News is reporting that One man is in hospital and another individual has been arrested following a Monday evening shooting in central Abbotsford, according to a police news release.

Two crime groups operating in Alberta

The Edmonton Journal is reporting that "A record number of gangs have been identified in Alberta, and Alberta Law Enforcement Team (ALERT) Insp. Dave Dubnyk warns organized crime has tentacles that reach across provincial borders and deep into Alberta’s communities." The article states that "A Provincial Threat Assessment identified 138 criminal networks operating in Alberta, the highest total in four years" while in reality the article only names two.

The Red Scorpions and the Independent Soldiers along with the Dirty Few and all the others except for the Warlocks are all puppet clubs that sell drugs for the Hells Angels. The only other group they mentioned was the United Nations working in Grand Prairie. That is new and represents the only separate group in the list.

In Calgary the FOB - Fresh off the Boat were drug dealers that were supplied by the Independent Soldiers who in turn worked for the Hells Angels. In contrast, the FK- FOB Killers were a group of rival drug dealers in Calgary that sold drugs for the UN.

Civil Liberty under attack

This blog supports civil liberty as defined in the US Constitution, the Canadian Charter of Rights and the Irish Proclamation. These documents define a free republic. As I repeatedly point out, these rights and freedoms are under constant attack not from terrorists or foreign threats but by domestic attacks from enemies within.

The Aging Rebel continues to cover the court case where the US Government persistently files appeal after appeal trying to tear up the Constitution and remove the freedom of association by seizing the Mongol patch and by banning the MC movement altogether.

As I repeatedly have said, committing crime and belonging to a criminal organization is not a Charter Right. However, the freedom of association is. Creating laws that ban civl liberty for suspected terrorists is problematic because as soon as the government does that, they then label anyone that opposes them as a suspected terrorist denying them legal representation and the right to a fair trial. Spying on citizens without a warrant not for criminal activity but for their political affiliations is another example of how civl liberty is under attack from domestic threats not foreign.

When this blog first started it had two founding premises. The first was that the Hells Angels are a criminal organization and the second was like unto it. That the CIA is also a criminal organization. In process of time I have amended my first premise.

Kerri Krysko stated that the Hells Angels are not a criminal organization, they are an organization of criminals. She said many members of the Hells Angels are in fact criminals but many more are not. This is true. George Christie stepped up to the plate and said the Hells Angels are not a criminal organization because the members who are involved in criminal activity are stingy and don't share the proceeds of crime with the other members. That is believable.

Consequently, I have amended my original position. In Canada the Hells Angels are without question directly involved in criminal activity as illustrated in Julian Sher's book the Road to Hell.

However, David Giles was caught on wire stating that not all members of the Hells Angels are involved in criminal activity but anyone who uses the name of the club for criminal activity must have that activity approved by the local executive. The Kelowna chapter was consumed in criminal activity. That clubhouse should be seized. The Nanaimo chapter was not. That clubhouse should be returned. The courts need to decide the fate of the East Vancouver clubhouse.

There are tons of members of the Hells Angles in Maple Ridge. Most of them are not involved in criminal activity. To claim that there are would be dishonest. Likewise, banning the MC movement in the United States and seizing the Mongol patch is an attack on the Constitution. Operation Fast and Furious showed us that the ATF and the CIA are the biggest drug traffickers on the planet. Gary Webb was right. Iran Contra never stopped. That is what needs to be addressed. Tearing up the Constitution and removing civl liberty does not solve the problem it compounds it.

Justin Trudeau made some powerful statements about the Omar Khadr settlement. “When governments violate Canadians’ fundamental rights, there have to be consequences and we hope that the message going forward to all future governments is: you can not ignore or be complicit in the violation of Canadians fundamental rights, regardless of what they did.”

This is true and it forces us to deal with our complacency in confronting Guantanamo Bay and the CIA black prison sites where prisoners are tortured and denied the right to legal representation and a fair trial. Initially the CIA created these black prison sites that knowingly violated the Constitution by claiming that they're not on American soil so the Constitution does not apply. The Canadian, Australian and British courts have disagreed. That makes us all culpable in the continuation of these black prison sites.

However, one has to ask why is Justin Trudeau supporting civil liberty now when he voted with the Harper government to remove it? Why did Justin Trudeau campaign against Bill C-51 only to create a new one expanding the powers of the Canadian secret service? It's all conflicted so it is.

Seizing Patches

Just to clarify, Seizing the proceeds of crime is very different than seizing an entire MC's patch. Even in Canada where the Hells Angels have a long documented history of drug trafficking, seizing their patch would be over the top because in any chapter that is involved in drug trafficking usually it is only one patch member involved with the approval of the executive. All the other members of the chapter are not involved.

In the US seizing the Mongols patch from every member is totally over the top since they have only established a nominal criminal activity among a few members. When the police and the government fear an organization, that is a good thing. The government is supposed to be afraid of the people. When they are not, that is when you run into problems with ruthless dictatorships kicking in your door without a warrant.

The documentary Freeway Ricky: Crack in the System showed us the problematic nature of seizing the proceeds of crime. Freeway Ricky was unknowingly selling crack for the CIA in LA back in the /80's. The CIA pulled the plug on the DEA's bust of Oscar Danilo Blandón because he was selling cocaine for the CIA. After the CIA pulled the plug on that bust the DEA became corrupt. Instead of stopping the drugs they just started seizing drug money and collecting finders fees. A former DEA agent confessed to that fact in the documentary.

Likewise in Surrey, the police are watching the drug trafficking that is going on out of Shakerz and refuse to do anything about it. The system is corrupt. Banning MCs will not stop the problem it will only make the corrupt officials feel more powerful.

Sky Pilot - Finian is Back

OK I'm back. Back in black yo. My holidays are officially over. Monday I'm back to work. That went way too fast. Today I took the Sea to Sky Gondola and hiked up Sky Pilot. I almost made it to the summit. The last few ridges you really need ropes and harnesses to rappelling down. Getting up is OK but it's a lot safer to repel down from the hooks embedded in the rocks.

So here's the deal: People often come to me for help. Some people I can help. Some people I can't help. If you have substance abuse issues, I can't help you. You need rehab. I recommend the John Volken Society because most of the other rehab houses in Surrey are flop houses for addicts to use drugs. If you have mental health issues, I can't help you. I don't do Dr. Phil. You need professional help. If you have suicidal thoughts you need to call the crisis line:

1 800 SUICIDE | 1 (800) 784-2433

People come to me and share things in confidence because they know I respect confidence even when others don't. I will not betray confidence even when others betray mine because that is the way I roll. I was trained in New York City. My word in my bond.

In the words of Rare Earth "I put my faith in the people and the people let me down so I turn the other way and I carry on any how. I had my hand on a dollar bill and the dollar bill blew away but the sun is shining down on me and it's here to stay."

Hacksaw Ridge - Take Heed of the Dream

Hacksaw Ridge directed by Mel Gibson is on Netflix. Now that is valour. Something these plastic Surrey girl drug dealers cannot comprehend. The closest they'll ever get to valour is on Xbox.

The ability to work is a blessing. The refusal to work is a curse. It is the root of all evil. Parasites pimp the dream by taxing people who work because they don't want to. It has been said that the guy who was shot recently outside the sushi restaurant on 148th street and 108 avenue just got out of prison and started taxing everyone until someone put a bullet in his head and said tax that.

"Take up or quarrel with the foe to you from failing hands we throw the torch. Be yours to hold on high. If ye break faith with us who die we shall not sleep though poppies grow in Flanders fields." From Flanders' fields in France to the opium fields in Afghanistan, take heed of the dream.

Canada shouldn’t donate to the Clinton Foundation

The Toronto Sun is reporting that Canada shouldn’t donate to the Clinton Foundation. No kidding. The Clinton Foundation is a front for the Clintons to pocket profits from arms dealing and drug trafficking. Giving that private slush fund 20 million Canadian tax dollars is a criminal act.

Surrey needs a new Mayor

Linda Hepner is an idiot. She needs to step down and let Eileen Mohan take the helm.

Love for Canada

"Generations ago in the lands of our past children learned how to hate, and they learned it fast but today in this land, by respecting each other children teach us to love, not to hate one another." - Vernon Morning Star

Bystander hit in Surrey Driveby

Scan BC is reporting that #Surrey #RCMP on scene a driveby shooting at 148 St & 78 Ave. Female bystander was hit by a bullet. Suspect truck was set on fire nearby.

It's actually 147 A street not 148. One resident stated they heard 6 to 7 shots and saw the vehicle speeding through the crowded residential neighborhood at 80 km/h. Tragic that a bystander was hit. That's a game changer. Firing a handgun from a speeding car in a residential neighborhood is just plain stupid. As long as we continue supporting lethal injection sites where people can smoke crack and snort cocaine this kind of senseless violence will only escalate. We are part of the problem not part of the solution. I believed in the New York model.

The Campbell River Mirror reported "Surrey RCMP are investigating after an innocent woman is believed to have been shot during a brazen daylight drive-by shooting on Sunday. The shooting, which occurred in the 7700 Block of 147A Street at around 3:30 p.m., is believed to have been targeted. When police arrived they found a woman suffering from a minor gunshot wound."

"According to Staff Sgt. Dale Carr, the RCMP believe that the intended victims fled the scene in a black Hyundai missing a front bumper while the suspects were seen leaving the area in a red pick-up truck. The red truck was later found on fire in the 9000 block of 150 Street. Witnesses reported that two males were seen fleeing the area."

CBC reported that there was a shooting outside a sushi restaurant in Surrey last Tuesday night at 148 th Street and 108 Avenue. The victim was taken to the hospital and is known to the police.
